The US has unfairly imposed tariffs on the residents of the Heard and McDonald Islands, and the penguins have elected to rise up.
No taxation without avian representation.
In response, a fleet of robots has been unleashed to quell the rebellion, but they will not succeed. The thing about penguins is that they always stay close when things get rough, and the fate of the colony comes above all else.
Inspired by the jokes surrounding the US’ tariffing of uninhabited islands, Rise of the Flightless is a comic book anthology seeking to raise money for the Antarctic Science Foundation:
